Two people, one kennel, and a home full of goldens. We don't run a commercial program at scale — we raise the dogs we want to live with, and we stay in your corner for the dog's entire life.
It Started with One Dog.
Twenty years ago, it began with a single dark red golden retriever and the realization that a well-bred dog profoundly changes a home. We were captivated by the Scottish Highland working heritage: an energetic, tireless drive outdoors combined with an affectionate, intuitive calm indoors.
Two decades later, we still breed the same way: a few carefully planned litters, whelped and raised underfoot in our living room, chosen for sound health and temperament before anything else.

Our dogs are working field goldens. They possess dense, water-repellent dark red mahogany coats, athletic musculature, and instinctive bird drive. But unlike hyperactive sporting dogs, our lineage is famous for its natural "off-switch."

We're Lisa & Terry.
We live on our acreage in Stacy, Minnesota. We don't employ kennel hands or hire offsite caretakers. We sleep right beside the whelping box during the first three weeks of every litter.
